Hide Not trying to TC... really I'm not... but OMG I was near tears after buying this game a couple years ago (NBA2K20). Only spent $10 (or less) on it, but it was so non-enjoyable that I contemplated PAYING someone to take my copy, just so they didn't end up spending money on it.

All I'm saying is: beware if you don't know anything about this game series. I wish I had heeded the warnings from others.

People dump on 2K all the time, and a lot of it deserved for a $60 game. But unlike Madden, the core gameplay of the sport is solid. It's hard going back to old NBA 2K games, but it's easy going back to old NFL games.

I'm probably the only person on earth who actually appreciates the rougher, lower quality Switch graphics for this game. Things on the PS4, and moreso on the PS5, just look too squeaky clean fresh. Almost too fake. Skin, uniforms, and the bball itself just look more real to me on the Switch.

I dunno, call me crazy.

I tried going back to 2K2 on DC, and 2K5 on Xbox. It was tough to play because of all the positive gameplay changes over the past 15+ years. I play Madden 08 and NFL 2K5 on Xbox all the time, and I feel like the gameplay was better on them vs Madden 22.
