Thus the price. Don't expect to play AAA titles at 4k on this but for 1080 gaming and medium settings, I've been very happy with my 3050ti setup.

You know that you can upgrade that to 16GB by paying as low as $30.

$50 cheaper than the TUF that was on sale last week.

Windows 10 instead of 11 and marginally weaker processor. (i5-11260H instead of i5-11400H)

Is there any other difference between the two models?

If you know what you're getting when you buy this and understand your limitations with the GPU, especially it only having 4 GB of VRAM, then it's not a bad purchase if you absolutely need the 17" display on the go, but 250 nits and only 45% NTSC is a huge deterrent.

Did they fix windows 11 yet? Isn't it still slowing down everything. Haven't heard all that much news yet that they have 100% stabilized it yet. Do you have more news?

I have a 3090 and hardly ever play games at 4K.

Any thoughts on the this one, Looking for a budget laptop for gaming (nothing crazy, indies and AAs mostly,) and minimal content creation. Sincerely appreciate any and all help! Was also looking at Lenovo Ideapad 3 and Flex 5. All of this is very foreign to me. Thanks as always!

Performance wise, it is sufficient. But depending upon the type of content creation you're working on, you may be needing a better display or hooking it to an external monitor with good color gamut and accuracy.

It would be very minimal. Mainly for gaming and uploading videos. There any others you'd recommend currently on sale? Was also looking at Lenovo idea pad 3 and the flex 5 as part of Costco tech sale going on at the moment.

If you have a list of needs and price point that would help narrow down what we can advise you on.
