This is funny because I just switched from Eufy because my doorbell was missing over 50% of the motion it should have caught...

I have one, floodlight works amazingly, though the view angle is not as great as Ring floodlight, it's cheaper and responsive. Also, price is the same as Home Depot now.

That's your fault you don't know what settings to use. Works 100% of the time for me after trial and error.
Um I literally turned off all custom activity zones and set detection to high and set it to all motion and not just person.

I would go out several times a day and some days it would have no events. So yeah it's not about the settings and there's plenty of reviews that agree.

In comparison I replaced it with a blink doorbell and it has not false triggered once and has never missed someone walking by in 2 weeks now. It's mounted in the exact same spot.

I have Ring, and it costs twice as much, but I'm happy to have all of my security devices maintained by a U.S. company that backs their products, and cares about security.

As for the software and features, I'll leave that to the others to debate.

Wyze has had some bad publicity lately over lack of interest in patching some security issues. I have a v2 camera inside and v3 camera outside. They are decent for the price if you pay for the annual subscription (hopefully discounted). I think the free capture is too short and I found the SD card to be finicky.

I think it tends to be a bit too alert happy. You have to be very careful about the security zone and sensitivity.

I would not buy Wyze products even though I have more than ten cams. This company is not trustworthy. It was great when it came out in the market. Not anymore. I would rather spend money somewhere.

Wyze seems to be charging Zero up front and then always put some "Bro" sounding message to start charging, " Yo Bro(s) The tank is almost empty so we need some funds to keep the engine running, so from now on it's cash, grass or $#@ or cta later "

My motion sensor went bad, but wyze lets you use the cameras motion sensor also.

I have to do the same with mine, only it's not on a switch. Talk about a pain in the ass for nothing.
Put a shelly on the power line and then you can use the shelly to restart the wyze light...

I have 7 of these installed across a few buildings.

Weird things trigger motion like some rose and sage bushes we have when it gets windy and I can't seem to get it dialed in the way I want. Other than that they have been working well.

How is this compared to FEIT flood light and camera which normally goes on sale for $80.
