These permanently damages your display foil and you'll have weird white spots near the clamps after a few months. Denied warranty by Apple and I don't blame them, it was my damn fault. There should be a class action law suit on them.

These clamp designs are terrible idea. You cannot apply constant pressure without damaging the LCD screen.

Thanks. I was hoping for a decent price on an apple alternative, and hoping that the Up to "3 month battery life" acually holds up with everyday use.

I will bite if they introduce ESC key. I'm using expensive 12.9 magic keyboard and feel disappointed about the keyboard layout (I know, there is no space for an extra row)

I have a smaller version of this, BRY8002. Nice keyboard, I think I paid almost $100 for mine. Negatives: Really tough to detach the keyboard. Bluetooth occasionally disconnects and it is a process to get it to connect again.

I had the 12.9" version of this a few years back and really liked it. I'm going to get this one for my newer 11" iPad at this price.

FYI, the Command Key + "." (period) get you ESC on the Magic Keyboard (not ideal but an option).

I remapped caps lock as ctrl, and use ctrl + [ to get ESC.

Can you elaborate on that? Is it caused by excessive force constantly pressing on those two corners?

Adding a keyboard like this ……is like making your iPad into a laptop. It seems like a good idea but kinda defeats the purpose of a tablet ….portability…. Good deal and all afaict…..this is jm2cw.

They have a new version that doesn't have the clamps, do not get this. You have to use their screen protector or it will damage your screen. The rubber clamp pads will also go bad fairly quickly.
