What's going on with dumbbells, it was never been so cheap before, but for half a year it sells less then $1/lb on regular basis.
Does they make it out of radioactive waste?

Supply and demand, they couldn't make enough dumbbells during Covid, eventually they overproduced and now excess stock needs to go. Get the deal while they're around.

I thought I got a deal back on November, when purchased it for 0.97/lb, but since then I notice several deals even cheaper.
