KEY FEATURES per Amazon / Best Buy:
4K UHD (3840x2160p) Resolution
4 times resolution of Full HD, four times the detail. With Toshiba 4K TV, you can enjoy uncompromisingly crisp, clear visuals for a fully immersive, professional theater quality.
Wide Color Gamut
Delivers an expanded spectrum of color that TV's with smaller color pallets can't match, thus providing a more colorful and vibrant picture.
Full Array Backlighting w/ Local Dimming
This technology separates the LEDs into smaller, more tightly controlled lighting areas giving the television more control over the parts of the picture that need more or less lighting without affecting the other areas.
Native 120Hz Refresh Rate (Motion Rate 480)
Experience incredible clarity in motion with a 480 Motion Rate panel, giving you smooth, fluid movement from all of your fast-action content.
HDR Format: Dolby Vision , HDR, HDR10+
Transforms your TV into an entertainment powerhouse. The image technology from cinemas, now brought together in the home, provide amazing realism that you'll see, hear, and feel like never before.
Ultra-essential PQ Technology w/ Regza 4K Engine
Ultra HD 4K Panel expresses picture quality four times as detailed in pixel as Full HD. Regza 4K Engine optimizes every picture detail and color output to achieve "real as it is" picture quality.
Auto Low Latency Game Mode (ALLM)
Enjoy a better gaming experience. In Game Mode, input lag is significantly improved, so your commands from the controller are virtually instantaneous on the screen. The M550 is ready for the whatever the latest generation gaming consoles can throw at it.
DTS® Virtual Audio: X™
DTS Virtual: X technology is a scalable and versatile advanced post processing package that creates an immersive audio experience by virtualizing height content over traditional stereos.
Press & Ask Alexa
Use the included Alexa Voice Remote to manage TV power, volume, navigation, playback, and input switching. Or just press the microphone button and say, "Find dramas," and Alexa will show you search results from a central catalog of hundreds of integrated apps and channels.
Far-field Voice Recognition
With built-in microphones, you can make your TV the center-piece of the room, the home, and your day. You can use your voice to quickly access what you want to watch without touching a remote
Apple Airplay Support
Share videos, photos, music and more from an Apple device to your TV with the touch of a button.

I called Toshiba for information on the 65 and 75 inch TVs. They referred me to a different Hisense number that was not on either website. I called them, and after about a 25minute hold, the rep said both panels have the following unlisted specifications:
Up to 600 nits peak brightness
48 Local Dimming Zones
VA Panels (and not IPS)
120hz
Hopefully this is accurate and helps some other folks out. It looks like an exact mixture of a U6G and U7G with an odd number of dimming zones compared to the two.

Also seems like the panel is 120Hz but HDMI does not support 120Hz. Most Xbox and PS5 users would be disappointed

I just bought it and love it so far. Great contrast, good sound for tv speakers. I love that it has hands free control and VRR. I have LG C1 in my other room and have zero complaints about this TV. 499 is a steal for this TV, IMO. Thanks OP!!

Or should I spend the extra $50 and either the Hisense U6G or the TCL 5 series that have Google TV?
Budget is $500. Really struggling with this decision, even with Rtings reviews
Viewing angle not the best, but still makes me happy. Looks like 55" has about 32-ish dimming zones so blooming is noticeable in dark but if you just add a little light to the room (I use some cheap dimmable Feit lights from Costco) you should view a nice picture with good contrast; super bright and deep blacks.
Overall, I like the tv considering the price and the performane.
