Just as an extra tip, if you want to maximize the sound reduction, also replace steel door rollers with nylon rollers. I was amazed at how loud the steel rollers were once I switched to a belt drive and could hear them.

Too bad Costco is in the electronic dark ages with respect to in-club availability and pricing on its website/app. The only way to check without going to the store is to call, and I find they are generally helpful, but I've also been steered wrong, being told they would hold an item only to drive to the store and find it was an incomplete demo/display model

Bought this unit from local store a couple months ago. Likely out of the price adjustment window but I was fine with the price for what I got at the time. Unit is easy enough to install. I replaced a POS Genie setup the builder used.
Camera, opener range, smooth opening/closing, app to show me if door is open/closed, etc. were all improvements. Also quieter from the smaller motor Genie. I think the Genie was a 1/2 HP chain unit.

Recommend this Garage opener even if you can't get it at this price.

This is a great price. I have an older chamberlain 1.25 hp belt drive without the camera. Just got a chance to install them and the belt drive is so quiet compared to chain drive. My old openers were only a couple years old, but the vibration and noise from the chain drive was terrible.

I did have to buy the 1ft extensions, as they were made for 7' doors. Not sure if these need an extension. Was an extra $45 each that I did not expect.

MyQ works pretty nicely, but I did have some trouble with setup, which after numerous tries, I realized was related to VPN. Once off VPN, setup was straightforward.

It is fairly straightforward. Just take your time and read the manual. That's a great price for the opener.

I have the .5hp version and don't notice the noise difference between belt and chain. Would having higher hp decrease that noise level? Obviously would open and close faster.

You must have had a very quiet chain drive then. My belt drive is extremely quiet. About 1/3 the Boise of the chain drive.

I would buy, but my next one will probably be the wall mount style (direct drive?)

Yes same model that HD clearance. This deal is roughly $30 more. Still decent price compared to original price.

So if you call would they know for sure? One person said it was deleted from the system and won't be getting anymore. Are there any chances they would be sitting out on clearance?
