Camera, opener range, smooth opening/closing, app to show me if door is open/closed, etc. were all improvements. Also quieter from the smaller motor Genie. I think the Genie was a 1/2 HP chain unit.
Recommend this Garage opener even if you can't get it at this price.

Agree
Agreed in Wisconsin
It's clearly YMMV and regional.
I present exhibit #1.

OP is in CT and bought his from the Windsor store. My photo is from East Lyme about an hour south but also in CT.

When on the inside, you will want to lift the door halfway up, which can be done using its cross members. If you see that the garage door sticks at the halfway position without any added assistance, then the tension is right. However, if you see it lowering, then the tension is too little. It will be too tight if the door goes more than halfway without any added assistance.
Not sure what system you have - extension or torsion, but over time the k factor in the springs will relax meaning they will get weaker, so it's not uncommon for them to be set properly on install only to fade over time. The opener can handle a lot of tension even though the system isn't really designed for it, so most people don't notice (in fact, most openers can still open double side doors if one spring is broken, although I wouldn't suggest doing that too many times) it. Also, if you're making the habit of leaving the door open a tad, depending on your area, you will probably want to lock it from moving up, so someone can't roll by and find a way to hook the release lever, pull the door up and steal your stuff (they can do this even with the door fully closed, so it being open a bit even if they can't fit through it physically is a big help) - meaning you won't be relying solely on the opener. I find the best way to do this is with a pair or 2 of vice grips on the rails that physically prevent the rollers from passing.

Just because you can't find it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
They weren't near me but 3 hours away they had them.
Sucks but that's the way it goes sometimes.
