FYI, their customer service is useless. Replies take forever and they barely even follow up.

It is. I've bought several different models and they've all worked reliably and well. The one downside to this particular model is that the speed indicator lights on top of the unit don't turn off. Which bothers some people who have it in a bedroom. But an easy and cheap fix for that seems to be to place a 1 3/4" felt pad on top of the unit during operation. The lights don't bother me.

Fwiw I got an winix am80 refurb for 100 when I looked ~2mo ago. Got 2 cats, needed hepa filter for guests.

Not sure how slick this is if you want something larger. Am80 or the winix brand got well rated enough from consumer reports that I'm fairy certain it's good.

Feedback from guests is no or extremely mild delayed allergies so far. I blast it before for several hours before they come in.

I think the 411+ is worth the upgrade. I have both and the 411 doesn't have aluminum casing over the filter so it's easier to damage the filter and is flimsy. Also, the 411+ sounds more pleasing for white noise IMHO.

It has one button design for those that hate that kind of thing, like me. Keep in mind it is for very small rooms, filters my be proprietary based on their shape, so always check replacement costs before you buy to see if it makes sense for you.

It works for up to 160 sq ft. The filters are cheaper than most other models, around 20 on Amazon. I have the 411 auto and I love it

I was looking for winix before getting a suggestion here for blue air and I'm glad I did. Their bigger version (211) beats out all the other competitors on a Canadian govt test lab so these should be good for its class.

Same here! Have owned multiple models throughout the house for a couple years now and theyve all performed well for me. Used a Dylos DC1100 Pro to test/confirm.

I have been thinking about getting a couple Mila air cleaners. These are obviously much cheaper, but do a lot smaller of an area. Anyone have any experience with Mila?

The title is incorrect (as of when I posted this comment). The regular Blueair Blue Pure 411 is the one on sale not the 411 Auto. There are 3 versions of the Blueair Blue Pure 411: the 411, the 411+ and the 411 Auto.
