Bigger bonuses. Then once it's time to renew, you downgrade to a no annual fee card.

No matter whatever card you get from them, Cap One is wasted credit inquiries. They like to pull ALL three bureaus. Most other cards only pull one. Nothing Cap One offers is worth 3 inquires on your reports.
Cancel after one year. So effectively a $650 bonus.
Show me a no annual fee card with a ~$650 bonus... I'll wait.

I had been rejected for a couple of years with great credit but recently checked back in using their pre qualify tool that doesn't run a credit check. When it said I would qualify for the Venture I applied and was accepted. Not sure what changed. My score was about the same.
Thanks. Whenever I use their pre qualify tool, it never selects the Venture X for me eventhough I say I am only interested in travel cards.

That's normal with the pre-qualify tool. The new direct product page now has a link to prequalify. YMMV, some people can't see the link. May be due to ad blockers or VPN settings. May also vary by browser. It showed up for me in Firefox after I turned off my VPN.
The best I could see is Chase business unlimited $750 back for 6k expense with 0% for 12 mos. Let me know if you find something better, thx
Does it matter if you don't have a business?? Lol
A similar issue expect mine will be 20k! My focus is zero apr mainly as I will do semi large payments.. any advice I'll take!!

FWIW I wasn't sure if their Global Entry/TSA Pre-check included NEXUS (a program that lets you cross land borders between US and Canada freely, which also comes with pre-check), I reached out to Cap One via Twitter and surprisingly they responded really quickly:
- No they do not include it.
So that's unfortunate, as it's a cheaper program I was hoping it also be included... Chase cards do.
