I dont see the option for virtual card on the app. Dont we have to wait till we can activate the card for any transaction (including creating virtual card) to take place?

But for a flat-out statement credit, it is 1 point = $0.5

Applied for it and got approved for 30k, high interest rate of 26% with 800+ credit score. Keep in mind that card cannot be used until you physically have a card (takes 1-2 weeks). I called to get this expedited, but they stated they can't. So if you have immediate purchases, you will not be able to utilize the card.

The price of the tickets are not the same I see on the airlines website (they are more through capital one portal) and I was hoping to use for work travel, but the discount will affect the way I can I can raise the claim.. so in between a rock and a hard place..

I just ordered my tickets on the American Air site using the Cap1 card and then got reimbursed for them later. I think you can do that for any travel expense but I've only done it for airline tickets.

Edit: Nevermind, I see that you're saying the $300 credit needs to be spent through the Cap1 travel site?
