AFAIK, it's available on all the Capital One cards - from the no AF all the way up to the $400 VentureX; I didn't mean *all* credit cards in general.

This is correct at least with Chase... they don't do virtual card numbers. To answer a related question, they do have a way to spend on a new card before receiving it in the mail if you use a digital wallet:

Can I generate a secure credit card number for one-time use?
For security reasons, we can't give you a one-time or single-use virtual credit card account number. We also can't give you a credit card account number before you receive it in the mail.

Keep in mind: If your card has expired, or is lost or damaged, you need to get a replacement card. To order one, go to your account and choose "More..." . Then choose "Account services" and "Request replacement card."

virtual card numbers
For security reasons, we don't provide virtual credit card account numbers. If you were recently approved for a new credit card, most of our cards can be used with a digital wallet, before they arrive in the mail. For more info, go to www.chase.com/digital/spend-instantly [chase.com].

A bit confusing since you were comparing with Chase cards in the same paragraph...

Avoid Capital One and their services. In my two decades of using various credit cards, Capital One stands out as the worst. I had a negative experience with their checking account years ago, but the credit card is even more troublesome. When redeeming points for tickets, it becomes apparent how inferior it is compared to options like Chase. Their customer service, primarily based in India and other countries, often fails to listen and, in my experience, closes dispute and chargback cases in favor of merchandise without proper communication. I closed this account months ago and feel relieved.

Different experience for me. I bought an ~$800 plane ticket to MX on the American Air site. Later I paid the balance for that ticket with the bonus points I had gotten. Meanwhile I also got the C1 Spark Business card for which I got another $750 worth of points. I used those as a statement credit. I never had any problems with C1 through any of the transactions including a few calls to customer service.

If I have a cap one Quicksilver card, can I somehow "upgrade" to this card? I don't want any more credit cards.

Some folks have both but I don't know in which order they got them.

One is a "travel card" and one is not. I doubt they'd let you "upgrade" but even if they did, you wouldn't get the bonus. Better to apply for this and if you get it (and the bonus) then close down the Quicksilver.

Turkish airlines devalued their miles programs, and now it cost over 75k miles to travel to Europe from the East Coast. Turkish, miles and miles, was the best transfer partner for C1. It used to cost merely 45k miles to travel Europe, and now these rewards are not worth as much as they used when you travel internationally. However, these miles are still pretty competitive if you transfer to Air Canada and use it on one-way domestic flights on United Airlines

Not exactly sure what you're asking, but I don't think they'll allow you to transfer rewards between the Venture and Spark cards.

I guess they wouldn't let me transfer points between cards earlier because I have the Spark Business card. I had looked into transferring some leftover points to the spark card because the Venture only gives partial credit for the points when used as a statement credit.
