The fact it's a 6AH included as the gift as opposed to the 5AH might make you not even do the hack. It's worth noting the 6AH is HIGH OUTPUT while the 5AH batteries that usually accompany these deals are only XC (TLDR; 6AH > 5AH in capacity as well as the cell architecture itself.

Nonetheless, if you do the hack you get a pretty good deal. I'm anticipating solid sales coming up for memorial day and more importantly father's day. In the event you have buyers remorse HD has a 90 day return policy that is fairly lenient.​

Hack Instructions:
- Go To Deal Page
- DO NOT ADD THE BLOWER TO YOUR CART WITH THE FREE GIFT SELECTED
- Add 6AH to cart... select Ship to Home
- Back out... find the blower bundle again, add it to cart (should default to Store Pickup)

Are these now only working with store pickup? If I try to select one item for shipping, I get:

The blower is really nice. It has the turtle mode and the rabbit mode. Both do a good job.

I don't even sweep the patio or garage, I just use this thing for a few seconds and it's good. I use a 5Ah battery with no issues.

I bought this blower about 18 months ago on a SD, with no battery for $90. I already had a 2 and 5 ah battery from my MKE drill, and this blower has been a champ. Coming with this 8ah battery, I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger on this. It is fairly small and more powerful than you would expect.

I got the tool only for $82 just a couple of weeks ago. You had to return the free 5amp battery to get that however.

Hmm weird. In any event, the receipt will outline the breakdown of costs you saw in your cart and you'll be able to return it in person for the discount.

Don't bother. These companies with their batteries, the batteries go bad relatively quickly and are painful on your wallet to replace. Go with a Ridgid 60 dollar small hand blower. They have a lifetime warranty and send you a replacement free. But, you must register it and submit a scan of the receipt online after you buy it. Don't procrastinate.

I did the same. Now I'm wishing i did this because i have 1 8ah that came with my trimmer/polesaw combo. Would love another one. I wonder if i can still return it
