Both Ram and Storage are upgradable. You can go up to 64GB using two 32GB stick. However, it doesn't have additional storage slot. You need to replace the existing SSD for upgrading it.

Big difference over the 5800u? They seem pretty identical, based on what I saw online. I bought the HP 13.3" for $650 about 2 months ago, wonder if I should return for this one. Don't care much about the screen. The other specs are pretty much the same, besides the 13.3 having a brighter, but smaller, screen.

The 5825U is a bit more efficient and slightly more powerful. There's no reason to swap it out for what you have, IMHO.

Us Pugs have to stick together. 👊

How's this one compare to https://www.costco.com/hp-envy-x3...93951.html?
Unless the 360° tablet mode is essential no reason to pay more. Virtually identical.

Do you need a 2-in-1 in the 1st place? If that is true then no point of comparing it with that model. Another thing, even for a 2-in-1, that Envy x360 in your example is not a good deal.

Yes, I'm after a 2-in-1 15.6".
