Easily upgradable 2 slots one with 8GB so one 8GB stick and you have 16GB.
Full specs
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c07905318
Upgrade specific:
https://www.memorystock.com/memor...053cl.html

This processor if faster than 10 gen I5's.

It lacks USB C charging and only has HDMI 1.4 so no 4k @ 60hz. You can do 4k@30hz.
But for this price you should not expect better.

The HP 1125g4 I bought was easily taken out of S mode. I highly suggest you do that unless you do not download many apps.

I have this laptop....got it from Costco 3 months ago for 380....nice laptop...has backlit keyboard but the keys are silver so does not show up that well with such light colored keys...I wish it had dark gray keyboard, but it is tolerable.....has fingerprint reader that works well...I upgraded it to 16gb ram from Crucial....fan runs quite a bit I have noticed...that would be the only real downside...I thought upgrading to 16gb ram would make the fan run less....I was wrong... when it is laying flat on my bed at night it gets warm/hot underneath....has very good up-firing speakers at the top of the keyboard....for 350 it is a good choice.

It's true, this i3 has a Passmark of over 9,000 with a single-core rating over 2,800...pretty stout with the Xe graphics chip
Its been mentioned in many other posts, the I3 in this PC punches above it's price point.

If you want to save $70 and are ok with 4GB ram and 128GB SSD then check this out: https://www.walmart.com/ip/HP-14-.../270583648 (Same HP form factor with Ryzen 3 3250U 2.6-3.5GHz, 1080P, WIN11)

I bought this 3.2lbs little laptop for word processing/light multitasking and found it is plenty fast on Windows 11 even with just the included 4GB DDR4 and dual-core (4 threads) Ryzen 3.

PS. You can take it out of S Mode to normal Windows 11 with 2-clicks
The Costco warranty makes the Costco one a better buy IMO.

as long as it handles Cyberpunk better than my PS4 IM IN! Smilie
Not sure if you're joking, but this absolutely won't handle Cyberpunk better than your PS4. This laptop doesn't have a dedicated GPU, and Intels integrated GPU in this is inferior to the one in the PS4. It will have worse performance at even lower graphical settings than the PS4 version (less than 15fps at 720p and the lowest settings) and would be pretty much unplayable. The only mobile CPUs with more powerful iGPUs than the PS4, not counting the Steam Deck, are the new Ryzen 6000 series.

I really wish this has touch screen. My daughter and wife really hate non screen.
I guess I would get a really nice quality Chromebook for this price range.

If I add 8 gb of RAM would this be ok for grad school? I'm thinking mainly lots of reading, writing and taking tests on camera?
A chrome book can handle that. Look into a large monitor for grad school such as a 40 inch hdtv

Link is dead.

Also the i3 has a Passmark score of nearly 10,000 and the ryzen 3 3250u has a score if 4000 which is the same as an i5 7300u from a few years back. Quite a lot slower

I just got this from Costco. However, when I open a browser, I get no Internet error. Then I have to click a second time for it work. Is it a wifi issue on the laptop? Any tips to get it to work first time.

Similar value to Target BF deal that cost 270. This has 8gb of RAM (over 4gb), 256gb ssd (over 128gb) and a backlit keyboard for the extra $80, while everything else looks the same. The target deal was FP with over 1200 comments! (plus this has costco extended waranty and you dont need to upgrade ram/ssd right away like the Target deal)
Nvme drive rather than sata. The screen is dim and poor color range.
This is a deal but the product isn't that great if you care about screen and build quality.

Costco just shipped my 72.5 pound air conditioner to me for free, but they want $10 to ship a 2 pound laptop.

The tests on camera may involve downloading programs for monitoring. I would not count on a chromebook.

It probably wasn't free shipping. Costco often just adds the shipping cost onto the price for online items. Check the warehouse and you may find it selling for a few bucks less than online.
