BR Factory quality is very different than actual BR. More along the lines of Old Navy or maybe GAP. BRF is made specifically for outlet and is not just last seasons styles.

I think even then the BRF is a step above old navy or the gap. I noticed those shirts outlast old navy, haven't had any gap shirts but I'd assume it would be similar if not still a step above.

Same with Coach Outlet. I don't get why brands dilute their brand like this. I bought a retail Coach backpack and my friends were like ewwww outlet stuff. I protested, NO! This is the real deal, high quality Coach. They just scoffed at me. Confused

I am amazed that people did not know this ! This is true for just about every large clothing brand. The specifications for outlet product are almost always slightly different than those for their regular retail product. So for example a polo shirt that is 100% cotton for their regular brand may be a cotton/poly blend for their outlet product and may measure 1/4 inch less across the chest.
