It's legit.
I'd be a bit learly of these specific FTW3 3090's, there were a bunch of rev 0.1 PCB versions that had power problems, either failures or wonky power draw requiring a special RMA process. EVGA has a pile of these they are fixing and selling off.
Why get this when the 4080 at this price will kick its arss.
No. In all likelyhood the 4080 will be 10% faster than a 3090 and sell for about $1000, you won't be able to get one for under $1500 until mid 2023. Good luck.

All rumors point to huge jumps in performance from the 4XXX cards. I would be shocked if the 4080 is only 10% faster. I'm thinking at least 40% if the rumors are true about it having 14k+ CUDA cores and 450w TDP. AMD will also see the same jump in performance. It's gonna be a good year for GPUs. Now availability... That will likely be the main hurdle for most people.
I don't understand this, the 40 series is going to be announced in about a month (per rumors) and the 50 series won't be announced for well over a year.. These are not comparable events and this is not clever logic.
0% chance you can buy a 40 card before September, and even then its probably going to be a 4090 for $2000
A 3090 should be the equivalent of a 4080 Ti. Still, it boggles my mind that someone would spend over $1K on a refurbished GPU even if it's direct from the manufacturer. If you're buying a 3090, chances are you will be doing production work in addition to gaming. It is going to be pushed hard for the next few years. Even directly from a respectable AIB manufacturer is too much risk.
They do have a 1 year warranty on B Stock. Not sure if you can buy the extended warranty.
The 3% off code saves $36 and should cover the shipping cost.

But yeah, you shouldn't get this for gaming, only if you need the extra VRAM.
