I have the C700 version of these, and they are all plagued with the same problems making them weak... the legs. The C700 wasn't as bad, but it took me several trips to different places to find a pair that wasn't defective.

When extended, if they are twisted at all (the black portion of the leg.) Then return it. Once any sort of load is placed upon then, the twisted leg portion will buckle, and boom. Down goes everything.

I've reached out to the company several times, and I never received a response.

The BORA has its own problems as well, but at least they respond to you (eventually).

I'm yet to find a good pair of manufactured saw horses that are collapsible. They all have some major flaw. The Toughbuilts also have some hardcore rusting issues since they just paint over they metals (they're supposedly powder coated, but it flakes off easily, and then rusts immediately.) So I highly recommend you lubricate them well. I use a dry lubricant so grease doesn't collect dirt/dust.

Good luck.
Thanks for the review!

I was thinking about these, but then saw the ones with adjustable height legs. Now I can't decide.

Agreed. But adding adjustable legs doubles the price!!!
If you can go get them at Menards and do the rebate thing, their rebranded adjustable leg version is $38 AR: https://www.menards.com/main/tools/power-tool-accessories/tool-stands-saw-horses/masterforce-reg-adj... [menards.com]

I bought a pair of metal sawhorses from Ace Hardware a year ago, but the legs are made with square steel tubing so they are solid, the legs on these look like a potential issue.

These are super nice, only issue I have at the bottom of the legs where the meet the floor is rather sharp metal that can scratch most surfaces other than concrete. I used these on a vinyl deck and had to replace some decking because of gouges. But the C550 model if you want to use on any surface other than concrete.

Single. They have a two pack for $60 but you are better off buying 2x singles as it's overall cheaper.

Those are also on sale for $43 and with those feet they also look to be a lot sturdier.

If you can get to Menards, they sell rubber feet that should fit for about $2 each: https://www.menards.com/main/tools/power-tool-accessories/tool-stands-saw-horses/masterforce-trade-n... [menards.com]

I have a kobalt version of this and they're great. I would expect these to be just as good if not better, especially at this price. Good deal

Scratch that, the version I have has the adjustable legs and I definitely use that feature more often than not. Still a good deal, but I would prefer the adjustable leg version.
Also bought the Kobalt version with adjustable legs on close out for $18ea. The Adjustable legs is a very good feature! They are heavy but they will last decades.

I used tape for a while and ultimately gave them away and bought the ones with a the feet. The feet make them much more stable when placing them in a yard, on carpet, or on any uneven surface.

These are great, however, you have to have level, solid, concrete surface.

Do the Masterforce covers work with the Toughbuilt saws?

Valid point. Yeah, I guess I have the C550 because they have the rubber feet on them. I got them at home depot and that is what they sell. I had not noticed that the posted version did not have the feet. I don't even know why they would make them without feet.

I didn't think it would be an issue until I used it on a deck and scratched a couple boards so I moved it to the yard, turns out, a couple hundred pounds has them sink into the dirt.
