To be clear motion-activated means you put your hand in front of the sensor to turn it on and then you do the same to turn it off. It is NOT like those water-saving motion faucets in public bathrooms which are a pain. Otherwise, it works like a regular faucet with the same adjustments you make with the handle (pressure and temperature).

For me, the detection point is at about 2 inches from the sensor so it doesn't get easily triggered when doing dishes. If you don't turn it off it will automatically shut off after 3 minutes.

Also, when you pull the faucet head out to spray that also turns the water on and when you put it back it turns it off.

Just sharing as I didn't totally get how this worked. Bought it from Costco for a little more but well worth it. I love this thing!

Purchased the motion activated non-X version back in March 2021 on a sd for $99 and love it. It works flawlessly and replaced a Moen faucet that I hated and was replacing parts almost monthly. The batteries that control the motion sensor are still going after 14 months so no complaints there either.

The image posted is misleading. I thought this was for the motion activated non-x version that I missed a couple months back.

Perfectly said. I got this from...I think the deal was through Newegg, believe it or not, in 2018 for $100, when it was under the "Biobidet" branding only. I'm still on my original set of batteries, and the only drawback that I can find is that when I go to other people's houses, I look like a fool waving my hand in front of their kitchen sink.

People come over to my house and it's the opposite. They're moving the handle back and forth and wondering why the water isn't turning on.

ooof same here, but I have a separate hot water spigot that dispenses near-boiling water. I learned that I need to explain my sink to everyone or something bad will happen again.

This!! I bought some Amazon knock off one and never use the motion because it sucks. Been waiting for this to go back to $99.

We've had a Flow motion sensor model for several years now and changed the batteries maybe only twice now. Best thing ever. I wish I had a reason to jump on this deal.
