Oolong tea is often served at Chinese restaurants. It is served hot and typically brought to you at your table first thing as you sit down and start looking at the menus.

The pure leaf brand type of tea is of black tea variety and it is boiled for up to five mins whereas oolong and green tea types are simmered at a lower temp and for less time. The latter are considered delicate tea leaves.
