What's a good recommendation for a lanky fella (32x34) that can be worn with cowboy boots or sneakers? Something not tight, but also not baggy or "relaxed".

Levi's 501 if you can live with button fly. if you want zipper fly then 505

I ordered 2 pair, hoping the smaller ones fit. Covid made me outgrow my 32s which stare at me silently everyday in my closet.

And I just realized I haven't bought any new clothes since December 2019.

If they don't have the ASICS, you can opt for the New Balance 624's. They work well with these Levi's, both the jeans and jean shorts.
