Did anyone get that deal? Think many were interested but cautious of ebay 3rd party seller.

I am interested in the heart rate monitor feature - easily readable.

I was recommended the Garmin Forerunner 44s as the HR is always on.

How does this compare?

Garmin is much more accurate than this. I had watch 3 which had the same sensors as this and had issues with HR missing during workouts. I switched to forerunner 245 and never had HR missing during runs.

Another thing to consider is battery life. Forerunner gives you at least 4-5 days vs this 24 hour battery. Of course you will miss some smart watch features and the ability to take calls

get the 44mm for $20 more, the battery life is totally worth it.
An amazing watch overall, probably, if not the best smarwatch at the moment.

No physical rotating bezel on the Watch 4, instead you run your finger around the immobile edge. Galaxy Watch 3 samples oxygen every 30 minutes, Galaxy Watch 4 can do it every minute. Probably others, but those are what made the difference to me.
