Samsung EPP 85" QN900a 8k Neo-QLED TV with $500 credit $3149 w/additional item

85" QN900a 8k Neo-QLED is now priced at $3499 if you have an EPP account.

$500 credit is automatically added to cart.

Deal was posted before but $500 credit is new added today.

If you add any tablet, cellphone or appliance to the cart, the tv price is reduced to $3149.

To make the price even lower:

- Chat to ask pre-sale coupon to lower the price to $3k.
- You may ask additional discount of $250 after order placed by chatting with Samsung CSRs.
- One can trade in an ipad 9.7 for $120 to cover the majority of the tablet cost. I happen to have an ipad air 1 at home which has a trade in value of $150. If not, an ipad 9.7 is about $35 on fleabay.

NOTE QN900a is probably worse than QN90 in terms of Image quality. However, QN900 has this bezel-less design so unique that it could justify the purchase for some. Especially the effective price is now about $2.1k if you want to do the work and factor the $500 into consideration. Plus QN90 and QN85 are no longer in stock from Samsung.

I think QN90 has an edge in both dark room and bright room with better contrast, though the margin should be really small, per ratings review.

I see the primary reason for getting qn900a over QN90a is for its design of no bezel and one connect box which allows to create a floating picture feeling. Also due to the reason for its wifi6 support and 4 x hdmi2.1 which are more future proof if you want to keep the tv for 7/8 years. Processor is also more powerful for use more years ahead for it builtin smart TV apps.

If QN90a 85" still available, I would suggest to get QN90 which gives better picture with less money. But I don't think it will be back in stock with 2022 model coming in. For a 85" flagship tv, this QN900 with $500 credit is currently the cheapest, arguably the best choice.

75" qn900a is out of stock.
65" qn900a is $2099 for epp. Add tablet reduce price reduced to $1890.

There is no credit with the purchase. As usual, you can ask for additional 10% off after order and/or %5 pre order discount with CSR. Plus cashback. Effective price of the 65" I about $1500-$1600 before tax.

The design of the qn800A and qn900a is amazing. However, I would still recommend going with the G1 if you want to mount the tv. The flush mount is amazing and the tv looks great on the wall, especially after concealing the cable.
I also recommend not compromising with picture quality for how the tv looks.
Cauze 95% of the how the tv looks is dependent on how good the screen is

These Samsungs have the one connect box and support flush mount just like the G series Oleds.

Main advantage is no automatic brightness limiter like you would experience on the G1. In this regard the G2 is much better because it has a *Heat Sink which helps keep the panel cooler.

G2 cost more though because it's a newly released TV. Contrast on Oleds will always be better plus of course pixel response.

Samsung QN800A-900A will be much brighter , screen will not dim and of course have good contrast and support higher resolutions with no worry of image retention or burn in.

Oled picture is best, but screen dimming and burn in is a problem

"- Chat to ask pre-sale coupon to lower the price to $3k"

How do you get this to work? Just chat and ask for pre-sale coupon? Or something in particular?

Yes. Just click the chat icon the the product page. Theb ask for a promotional to lower the price to make it more affordable. The CSR may give you the promotion code direcrly to knockoff 5% further or build a cart for you with the discount. In the latter case, you can extract the coupon from the checkout page ,

How is this versus QN90 for a dark room primarily for movies? Are the QN800 and QN900 worth the premium?

I hung my 85" qn90a the other day. 4k HDR is stunning on it. I can't imagine what 8k resolution looks like.

With the 75" QN90a delayed until 6/13...the QN800A is now about the same price and available sooner.

I do understand rtings gave it a worse score, but looking and reading forums, the QN800a tends to get positive feedback from actual owners with some actually preferring it over the QN90a.

Wait for the QN90a or order the QN800a?

Got the pre-sale discount, but after order $250 off becoming an issue.
So the pre-sale agent said: I issued 5NHXXXXXXX promo code for free installation and 5BXXXXXXX promo code for 5%off promotion.
But after order agent saying there are already offers applied to the order, he can't do nothing

Samsung is not honoring the $500 credit for those of us that already ordered. Their solution; refuse the shipment and order it again. So dumb
