Bought the Arctis Wireless Pro (black) 2 years ago for $210, with the two swappable batteries. Have used it regularly all this time, absolutely no complaints. It makes playing competitive PVP games so much more intense; I can actually hear the sacks of my enemies as they relentlessly teabag me after 360 no-scoping me at point-blank range.

5/5 stars.

As an owner of a 3D printer, I do support creating your own parts and this approach if you already own one, but that is a wild proposal lol.

The Arctis Pro Wireless version served me well for 5 years and the hinge just got broken. Not sure how to fix but still looking for another deal on wireless version.

This supposed to sound slightly better than wireless because it is wired so there's no transmitting codec involved.

I'm Assuming ur audio still works fine, and just the plastic hinge broke. I've seen people drill 2 holes and insert 2 zip ties to re-attach them. One of my hinges is loose so I was worried and looked up a solution. I found that, but I haven't tried it yet.

Yes that is exactly the case. I've seen a video guide for that zip ties on youtube but I haven't got the time to try it yet.

Buying a 3d printer and making the parts to fix this might actually be cheaper than buying a new set...and then you walk away with the ability to make/fix LOTS of stuff. Just saying!

As an owner of a 3D printer, I do support creating your own parts and this approach if you already own one, but that is a wild proposal lol.

I agree printing is one thing but designing parts is a completely different beast in itself. On the flip side if u have the dimensions of what you need u can usually find someone to draft up a design for a few bucks online if ur motivated enough.

Oh you're definitely right, lol. It is for sure a wild proposal. That being said, I've found some headphone repair parts that others have made and printed those pretty easily!

IMO that makes this deal all that much better. I didn't realize the wireless was so expensive/OOS now, but I commented just so folks knew at least that flavor of the headset was great. I imagine the wired version is just as good, but I can't say for sure.

Arctis 7p here. Love it except for the fact that the "noise cancelling" mic doesn't cancel anything. That was a huge part of why I bought it, and I'm still bitter about it.

Happy I have it regardless. It's better for gaming that my old Bose QC25, simply because it's wireless (the Bose was probably slightly better on sound, due to ANC in the cups). But no wire is a game changer for me. I just wish they were honest about how much the mic picks up.

He probably got in on the deal that stacked two 20% offs (40% off). Steelseries originally started cancelling orders but then the community had such an uproar they honored those who were able to place orders for them. I haven't see the wireless go on ANY sale since.....i missed out and been waiting patiently .....
