These are service and repair manuals. Not the operator manual. Or the owners manual as you called it. The owners manual is accessible through the in car touch screen or via your Tesla account, which is required to order a vehicle. These are at no cost.

Gas is $6 a gallon in California. So say $100 a week. I charge at work for free, so $5k savings in gas per year. With charging at home, would save around 3-4k per year vs gas. Cost of the car itself is fairly high but will save about 40-50k in gas over the life of the car if it lasts 8-10 years, assuming a constant gas price which we know won't happen. Paid about 50k for the dual motor model 3
My 2018 M3 I got the lifetime free supercharging at any Tesla Supercharger station.

I too did the math. I tried to use the free SC over the weekend to charge my M3. It comes to about $28 at home charge along with my SunPower solar system.

Model 3:
75 kWh = 280 Miles
My in 31 Days 501 kWh used
It about 1,870 Mile Range
It about $110 if charge at home at TOU Prime (SoCal Edison) Rates of $0.22 per kWh (501 kWH x .22 Cent).

When compared to Gas:
SoCal $6.30 Reg Unlead per Gallon.
Avg. 17 Gal to Fill Tank = $107.
1 Gal Avg. = 20 Miles
it will take about 5.5 time to Refill Gas Tank.

5.5 x $107.10 = $589.05.

That is a saving of $482.05. Almost a whole month car payment.

Do you know that Ford's first EV was 1914?

But you still can't admit that Ford was late to the game regarding present technology in EV vehicles. I don't think I will change your mind even though we showed you that Ford is not very efficient regarding electric power.

And about Musk... you make your own decision, cause I made mine.
I didn't go that far back because EVs were very different, but yes you offered more proof that Ford was NOT late to the game.

There's a reason Musk is well respected so your dislike of him probably says more about you.

I haven't seen the answer yet.. but as someone else asked does this auto renew?

With Tesla it payment it tie to your Tesla credit card system. You can try update it with a temp CC like one from Privacy_C-O-M (I have not use this service before but heard it free). If you don't have a Tesla account or any Tesla EV you should be good until it expire. I think they will just deny you access as I don't see how they bill you especially if you gave them a fake address and a fake full name.

It's a good value because the rest of us are getting scammed so insufferable Tesla drivers can get a tax credit they didn't need for creating a ton of waste by buying a new car they also didn't need.

Err... Teslas haven't been eligible for the federal tax credit in years.

The fact nearly all legacy car companies EVs still are eligible for it, and yet still keep getting crushed by Tesla in sales, ought to tell you something about how they compare on things other than price.

If someone figures out how to download this into a pdf or even html, would you please post. Thanks!
It depend what OS you are running. If it is Windows 10 or 11 you should be able to install Acrobat Reader and it should have a PDF printer app that allow you to "print" into PDF and save the PDF into any location in your PC.

Clearly you don't have one. Why even comment here? This thread doesn't effect you at all.
Folks that are new to the EV market or don't know much about Tesla always think old legacy ICE OEM brands will catch up but it is far impossible 4 to 5 years behind.

Even the latest Ford Mach E might show the same range or near mile range Ford uses about 20% more battery vs the Model 3. Just this stand point of less fuel efficiency Ford is losing money or making a much less profit compared to Tesla each EV car make a $6,000 pure profit.

By end of this end they will make over 1.5 million vehicles worldwide and it will be a S curve with there on. That is why I am a big Tesla Bull and invest heavy on them of over 100 plus shares.

Legitimate question. Tesla is charging owners for the owner's manual that normally comes free with all other cars? Or is this something else? Genuinely curious as I don't own a Tesla, but am considering one down the line.
The manual comes with the car or you can access it under the setting in the car's screen, the car's UI/features are constantly being updated/new features so it's best to refer to the digital manual. This is more for diy fixes on your car such as circuitry wiring, tools, parts and such.

Yes of course, the problem is that there are many chapters and sub-chapters, each requiring to be clicked on before you can "print" it to PDF. This will take hours. Hence I was asking if someone knows of some app that can print all the chapters or figures out some other way to do the same thing.

In currant situation of higher gas price this might be a good saving but with regular gas price under $2 (NJ) might be saving is not significant . How ever future is EV cars once battery charging will be super fast along with other technologies

You're giving them way too much credit. It's 2022 and Teslas are rocking navigation software from 2014. In general, in-car software is pretty trash compared to more modern solutions like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Even more, Tesla sucks at quality control and customer service. So way behind in software, qc, and cs…three of the hardest things to get right. The legacy car makers can easily bridge the battery tech gap from other vendors.

A lot of Teslas owners are more EV fans than Tesla fans and many will jump ship once real competitors arrive. At this point (true EVs account for less than 4% of US sales), there just isn't enough incentive for the legacy carmakers to go hard on the EV sector.

Yes, like all things in life YMMV. Just in this week Tesla news that in California and many other states Tesla Supercharger is increasing their charge fee to high demand of like $0.56 or near 60 cents. So instead of like $17 it now like $25 to $30.
