Yeah I'm not buying Ryobi for this. I have lots of Ryobi products and finally started getting into brushless. But no. Not going to get a Ryobi for pressure washing. I'm at 0/2 with Ryobi pressure washers quitting within first or second use.

Mod here, thanks for your feedback. We're promptly banning all deals on pressure washers from the website because you struggle with setting your own deal alert and anger issues.

No. Don't buy this if that's all you want it for.

You can Google this but you want 1,100 to 1,900 PSI or so to pressure wash a car. This is up to 3,100, and used at that range would clean concrete etc., and tear up paint on a car. It's more than you need if that's all you need.

You can get pressure washers to clean cars at the desired PSI for much cheaper. And electric ones, which are easier to deal with than ones with gas oil etc. if you have an outlet available.

The surface cleaner accessory is also a hunk of metal that sprays inside as you move it over the driveway, brick etc. to cut a larger swath per pass. You don't want to be shoving it against a car.

Got a question I couldn't get an answer to: can I have alert with multiple word combinations? Like "Apple watch" that would only trigger on an Apple Watch not on every Apple deal or watch. Should I use the words within quotes? Even using the add deal alert button doesn't do this.

The 5-in-1 nozzle has a a couple options that would make this washer totally fine for washing a car. Or you can get a decent foam cannon that would work even better with it. A pressure washer like this at least gives you the option of doing things like concrete as well as vehicles...

Just bought this few months ago. Works great. The surface cleaner is nice to get your driveway and sidewalk back to normal. After that I just use it for my car. And yes you can use it on car. Remember to use the right setting as it should come with the multi nozzle so no changing tips. You want something over 2900 psi to actually get the road film off. If you have chipped paint then yea it'll strip your car. Less then 2900 psi and your just wetting your car. You'll know if you have road film if you ever clay bar your car. Big difference.

Only thing I didn't like is the hose is pretty stiff and and the slightest thing will cut through it.

You need to use a pump protector like Stabil. Use it after every use and your pressure washer should last longer. I thought my Ryobi pressure washer was dead after its first use and had almost thrown it in the trash but decided to give it one last chance using a bottle of Stabil. Just hook it up to the hose inlet threads and spray the foam until it comes out the other side. I let it sit for a few minutes, hooked everything up, and it worked like new.

This cannot be stressed enough. It should be on every pressure washer post. It tells you in the manual (but is often buried at the end and in tiny print) and often one of the key reasons the water pump goes bad or gets gummed up.
Use a pump protector/cleaner for pressure washers after each use but especially before storing it for the winter or long time periods between uses like weeks or months. I had 2 different pressure washer pumps from 2 different pressure washers including the Ryobi die on me before i figured out what i should have been doing all along.

Also another tip, while a pressure washer can clean mildew and dirt off vinyl siding, it takes forever unless pretreating the siding with a cleaner solution and even then it still requires multiple passes and extra time for pretreating and u end up all soaked. I know this will sound like a plug but i have to say i tried 30 seconds cleaner for outdoors and i wont even bother bringing my pressure washer out. The stuff is very strong so you must b very careful not to get any on your skin and eyes even in its dilluted form. Dont use on a windy day or near grass/trees that u like or any pets. But it totally cut a 2 hr pressure washer job down to 30 min. Im sure its probably got other issues that may come out later but damn does it work to clean siding.

You should be able to use quotes as in your example for an exact word alert.

yep thats the thing about these axial pumps is they are prone to failure if you use them enough. The thing to really look for if you want a pump that lasts is a Triplex Pump.
