Not really that great for UberEATS...even with this uber one pass it's overpriced. Maybe a little helpful for Uber rides...

I didn't realize that the payment for each and every Uber eats order should be done through PayPal if need to take advantage of the Uber one discount. I thought PayPal lock in was applicable only to buy the 6 months Uber One discounted rate.

Anyone notice that you stop getting promos from UberEats once you join Uber One? I had Uber One a while back, but cancelled it due to getting free DashPass from my Sapphire card. I very rarely got UberEats promos while an Uber One member, but now get them every week or two. Uber pricing with promo is usually better than DashPash price so I end up buying UberEats 3-4x/month. It would be worth it to take advantage of this deal (looks like I qualify despite being a previous member), but only if promos don't stop. Can anyone who is a current Uber One member comment on if you are getting promos (e.g. the one I got a few days ago was 40% off, max $15 savings) on a regular basis?

It might not be, but it does make it less tempting. For instace with Chase Reserve you get 3% of that back already in points, and those points are worth 50% more for travel and other stuff.

seems like even for rides, unless you use it frequently, 5% doesn't seem like much either. For a $20 ride it's $1 off, better than nothing but if I was paying $10 a month for membership it'd take $200 in rides a month just to get even. This deal cut the monthly membership price down but again it's $10 out of the pocket so it's still $200 in rides over 6 months to break even.

I was about to say the same thing. The prices for items are about 10% more for the same things through Uber Eats.

It says "get offer". It redirects to Uber eats app. But if I try to purchase Uber one. It still shows full price
