I got my 30x72inch table top from Office Depot for like $110.

Lowes also has a pine butcher block of the same dimensions for $85 that would work even better since it's real wood. But I don't know if that's ymmv.

I would say around $100 for a decent table top you could go much cheaper though depending on what the desk will be used for.

I bought the Arozzi Arena Moto when it was on sale for $500 but this is a cool option, as long as it can support a large tabletop with a lot of depth. Gotta have the extra depth (32", not 24") in the tabletop to fit your monitors and still have arm room and space for your keyboard and mouse.

Only a single motor for the lift and the tabletop is only 24 inch depth. I'd pass. This option is more interesting since you can customize the tabletop size and it has two motors, as long as you are somewhat handy to add on the tabletop yourself.

Any reviews on this? Pretty good deal for the price but I don't know the company and don't want to be stuck with a non-working desk in a few months.

I can't find reviews, so I google searched their address which looks to go to a different company. And to be honest I then went to monoprice.com and looked at their offerings. They have 20% off some of their items and an additional 15% off coupon that can be used on top of that. Not the same frame. But I was reading that single vs dual that dual doesn't really matter unless you need to lift something heavy. Anyway, just my 2 cents. I'm leaning toward monoprice at the moment because they at least have reviews.

Yeah I just missed the monoprice dual motor deal for $200, going to wait for that again

That Amazon one has a particleboard top (engineered wood, sawdust held together with glue, work surface is plastic sticker that looks like wood.) It's about 3/4" thick.

The tops they're linking to at OD, Ikea and Lowes are solid wood. Over time the solid wood top will be more durable, and can be refinished. But either will do the job. For about $20 more I'd go with the solid option, but I'm a woodworker, and such things matter to me.

Check the scratch and dent area at Ikea as well, I found a few different sizes of tops that were either lightly used or had scratches on parts that you wouldn't see when using the desk.

I was on the fence on this until I saw that the $130 deal also applies to WHITE. I don't have a use for it yet, but that's sharp. Will find one.

I got a standing desk for work about 9 years ago. I offered to bring my own solid wood top (I had a an extra piece of butcherblock). My boss said no. Had to look "professional" and order the one that came with it. It sags in the middle slightly and has done so more over time. Using the butcherblock at home now for this desk, straight as... a board
