The sale is expected to start with 50% off spring and summer collections and older collections from this year like brunch, Easter, etc. Stores have put away boxes of excess inventory thru the year and they'd get opened up. Many retired fragrances are making a come back as well as some specifically created for SAS. But it might not feature as many holidays/ winter themed collections as they offer during Winter SAS, duh, obvious, but plan accordingly if you're more into fall and winter scents than spring and summer.

If you like a particular scent, pick it up at 50%, it may not make it to 75% later. Track sale prices and get price adjustment within 14 days of purchase if it drops more.

If you're just wanting a good deal, watch out for 75% off random products on a rotating basis. Check if your near store does BOPIS (buy online pick up in store) to save on shipping costs. Use it for items available in-store at your local store, besides the online exclusives, if you want to shop 75% off for 3 days in a row selectively and then go to the store on the 3rd day to pick 3 small hauls together rather than feel compelled to make one online transaction of large amount to justify shipping costs.

Indicator of good sales besides 75% off will be flat price promos like 4.95$ all bodycare (fragrance mists, lotions, shower gels, etc), or 2.95$ for wallflower refill or mini travel size items (lip gloss, mini body care and mists) or less than 12.95$ for 3-wick candles.

If you ever get a coupon, save it. You'd need it during those few weeks. Prepare early by buying a discounted gift card and reading up a bit to shortlist the scents you might like or do like or running low on, so that if it goes on sale, you don't think too long and just buy it fast.

Every couple of days they'd have a different promo. So unless you're keen on a scent, don't feel compelled to buy that very day.
Watch out for cash back for online purchases.

Most sales drop at 6 am and believe me, there are enough fans (not me) who will set their alarms and have a cart ready to checkout at 559 am that morning. Their marketing emails are super frequent and annoying. But consider subscribing for the duration of the SAS so you know latest sales and flash sales in a timely manner. Sign up for their rewards program and you could get a free full size item upto 16.50$ once you hit 75$ in spending.

Phew ok I think I have shared enough tips for now. More if I think of something sensibly in day time rather than 1 am on a Friday night after a rather difficult week. Anyway happy shopping and cheers.
Just be aware that you can actually lose money at this sale if you need to use shipping because their site does not accurately track inventory. At their last semi-annual sale I ordered 5 sales candles and all showed up as being in inventory and my full order was confirmed. But it turned out 4 of the candles were not in fact in inventory. So they shipped only one candle and I still had to pay the $6 shipping. After shipping charges I ended up paying more for that one candle than the "normal sales" price. Then to add injury to injury —for that $6 they shipped by USPS and I to pay another $15 to get to the nearest post office .
I must've given these people my address 4 times and I still don't get flyers /coupons.

Low traffic stores are the key. Lots of ~$6 3 wick candles and 75% off body care to be had if you're patient.

I ordered five candles last winter during the SAS and was informed that two were not in stock. I chatted with customer service to select new candles and asked that they waive the initial shipping fee due to the inconvenience, with they did. YMMV but it's worth asking.

Beleive me I called —and patiently explained to the rep that all items in my cart had been confirmed and that I would not have ordered one candle with $6 shipping . She offered to let me know when the candles I didn't get were back in stock . Wow thanks !

I messaged them via their FB page for a similar issue and they honored the price when back in stock and waived the shipping.

Store is 10 miles away, gas is $6 a gallon. Truck gets 20 miles per gallon. Cost me $3 and an hour of my time to pick up. 🤔 what to do 🤔
