On which planet would the regular price of a cake mix be $8?! Certainly not this one.

German chocolate cake is made with melted chocolate, unlike regular chocolate cake or devils food or red velvet. The ingredients in this cake seen to be exactly the same as the devils food.

If you're watching calories, sugar intake, I'd recommend pillsbury sugar free brownie/ cake mix as an alternative. Mix it with casein protein powder, blended oats, sugar substitute like erythritol/ monkfruit, some egg whites or a whole egg, and pumpkin purée or unsweet apple sauce. This combo is my go to mugcake recipe. Good for a self serving and fills my bakery treat craving. Also can be made into pancakes, just substitute any pancake mix and mix in same ingredients.

Are we really at the point that a cake mix is going to be front page??? Go to grocery outlet and you will never pay more than $ 1 a box. Just sad .at least it won't make me spend money. Been on here 15 years just a "lurker" . Got many deals... But cake mix???

Unfortunately we also live in a day and age that gas costs people 5 dollars to go to the grocery outlet and this is free shipping.
