Everybody is bashing this it seems, but no comments offering an alternative?

I'm looking for a laptop for work from home. And really, my "WFH" is to RDP to my workstation in the office as a jump box to other resources.

Either way I need a laptop to be a bit more mobile. Could care less about graphics/gaming. Can anyone recommend a laptop/recent deal that's around the $500/600 Mark?

My only wishlist is:

15.6in
Full keyboard(num pad)
Backlit keyboard
Integrated graphics
Reasonable battery life

Went to Costco yesterday and literally everything has gone up by 20% or more. I got a Sam's club membership recently and find their prices are much better and there's no line for gas.

Check Best Buy and just build from scratch. They have so many pc peripherals on sale right now, not to mention GPUs you can get in a week at the longest.

What's a better deal today? At $999 it didn't look so good but at 699, ot doesn't look bad. Where is a better deal?

Walmart & Target announced dismal financial results last week, stock prices tanked and took whole market down. Both indicated that TV and appliances which had previously seen strong pandemic sales were now way down. Should get a confirmation when BB announces 5/24 as to how many TVs are sitting in warehouses. Just in time for model change over.
