I don't really care if responsible and properly trained people carry, but now you're equating carrying a gun to being a "real man" which is a false equivalent. Also, a weird and unnecessary place to take a post about a sale on jeans.

Do yourself a favor and at least try Levi's stretchy Jean model. There are definitely better brands of stretchy jeans out there, but what's important is that you try any pair on, you'll never go back to non stretchy, they are just game changingly comfortable.

No lie - I actually hate that these are the stretchy version. They're not uncomfortable, but there's too much movement/elasticity in the waist and they tend to ride down without a belt. OTOH, if you have moderately muscular thighs and calves (think: cyclists), the 541s give just enough room to move comfortably without being wildly baggy. Compared to the 501s that need chicken/runners legs to fit into, they're a welcome change.

I know active men do not wear 'skinny jeans'... too tight in the crotch and difficult to climb or move. Lee's used to make a stretchy pair that was not terrible, but the material did not last long.

Meanwhile, the quality control on Levi and Wrangler has required trying on in store, or ordering more than wanted and returning what does not fit. Too big, too small, too long and too short in the same model is pretty common.

Great cut for guys smuggling hams out back. Higher waist to keep the dump truck under cover. Loose in the thigh to, well, allow your privates some space.

FWIW, Athletic pants aren't meant to be "baggy", they're meant to have bigger quad area (mostly) for people who lift, or just generally have large legs, and then the calf area tapers down. My pairs of athletic fit jeans don't look baggy on me at all, some even might look (barely) on the slim side.

But definitely more power to you if you dig them even when this does not apply to you, just giving some context to what these are "meant" for!

The stretchy jeans that I've owned seem to last longer than the traditional cotton jeans. Stretchy jeans are lighter and for packing when traveling.
