Larami Super Soakers died in 2002. The old school Super Soakers don't exist in 2022 and haven't for a long time. Only way to get the good stuff is to buy it off Ebay and most of them are broken or in poor condition at best.

These new school versions of the old design all completely suck. They will never be like you remember them. Don't even waste your time with this. These are total crap.

Ebay "Larami" if you want good super soakers, else you'll be super disappointed when this arrives.

We grew up with the super soaker CPS series. You could pump the ever living crap out of those and then destroy your best friends eye with the water pressure.

There are regulations regarding how much pressure they can handle now because of this exact reason. The CPS 2000 took a lot of kids out

Can confirm, I bought a couple of these several years ago and had to return them because the leaked more than they shot. Maybe they have improved, but I doubt it.

Also confirming - I bought the XP100 and the XP50 a few weeks ago. The XP50 works great for the kids, but the XP100 leaked constantly and was returned.

Interesting. But the video you posted seems to show that it could still be worth a purchase despite its faults.

I'll also chime in to confirm the same. I have three XP50s that are excellent, but one XP100 that leaks so much it is unusable. There's a few videos on YouTube that show that the problem is that the trigger doesn't properly close the water tube.
