I probably need to drive 200 miles to get to the promotion locations.

Beyond stupid 3 day free charging promo? I remember when Teslas were new and shit, charging was always free but there was literally 3 charging stations in existence.
Talking out of your ars? SUPERCHARGING was free on MS,X, and P3 until 2018 and there were at least 600 locations in US alone at the time

And please don't try to put down the cars.

Kinda stupid to do select locations only
Those locations are likely in the middle of nowhere, no demand. Smart business.

I'm not sure about other states but looking at the list of chargers in CA, it's basically for those that are traveling up from socal or going down from norcal.

Non for NE owners? F
Nope, we are stuck paying like 40-50 cents per KWH to supercharge I guess 🥲

There must be congestion at a certain time and trying to encourage charging at other times. Also those time periods may be off peak and it's less costly for tesla.

It's may be for people like me that have free supercharging for life.
They don't want anybody there when they're doing business and need their chargers and congesting up the place

This is incorrect information. The charging rate is high when soc is low but curve dives after 50%. From 20-80% is 30 minutes or more depending on pre-conditioning. As a 9 year MS owner I have never seen or read a 15-20 minute charge from 20-80% unless you own a Lucid Air
As a 9 year MS owner, your charging time is significantly longer than modern Teslas. Turns out technology improves over time.

Seeing this now has me thinking, how much does a charge usually cost for regular days/locations?

The point is it's not for people to just go get free electricity near their home cities in norcal or socal, but rather for those travelling between them for the holiday weekend.
