Apologies for your lack of expendable income. Work harder or go be jealous elsewhere. Nobody here cares about your finances.

BTW my 77" G1 looks great in the bathroom.

I have a lot of red burn-in on my 65C7. Do you think I should ask for a panel replacement?
Yes. I did about a year and half ago. They saw the pictures I supplied and they sent a new panel. It cost the labor price to replace, but it was 1/2 hour for the tech in and out and I've had a great TV again. Also... The new panels are less likely to burn in according to the tech.

I was too late to ask for panel replacement with 65e6p model. It was over 5 years old. Really tempted on replacing it with model.. or shell out for a 77"! After using oled I can't go back to other panels.

No, there is no need for extended warranty on G series
Not sure what you mean. I had to use my warranty 3months after purchase after a vertical line issue. It required a panel replacement, I didn't pay a dime thanks to warranty. I bought it in Jan 2022.

I had something similar happen with a completely different item I purchased where the manufacturer quality was worse than when I bought the same item earlier when it first released. My conclusion was that manufacturers don't put out the same quality of products at the beginning of its lifecycle vs the end of it (G2 is their main focus now). And we shouldn't expect them to. They already got their reviews in on the last years model, made their sales, and now they're moving on to the next model. They could careless about crappy reviews on the last productions they're pushing through. I'm sure the last model is now being manufactured with less QC just to get the units out so they can focus more on quality of the G2 where the reviews matter.

Point is, I think if you're buying the last models made of a certain gen, your are more likely to need an extended warranty because it probably wasn't made with the same quality.

No. It has art like the frame but you can't adjust the settings. Scrolls very quickly, 5 seconds I think.

This deal isn't bad, but I got one via toe a couple weeks back for less without tax or shipping. Didn't have to deal with the gift card and the warranty is questionable anyway.
