Interesting config…. 800 watts is obviously overkill for this system so seems to be catering to people who plan to upgrade the graphics card. However, the case looks small, does anyone know if 3080/3090 and 6900xt cards will physically fit?

Legit concern: the YT video shows about 1" left of space between the (assuming 3060) stock card and the front of the unit, due to the placement of a hard drive cage right there. If that were removed, you'd have a bit more room for longer cards.

That said, without knowing the specs of the 3060 unit in use, it's hard to compare and know what would and wouldn't work. But based on the fact you can spec this with a 3070Ti, it's clear at least HP's version of that would work...

I'm guessing the longer cards won't fit.

The chassis is 15.5" deep The card they have looks to be about 2/3 the length of the chassis and doesn't look like any margin for space.

I'm guessing it can fit max about 250mm cards.

Just guessing though. I can't find any spec. on it. Also i woldn't assume HP would design this to fit higher end cards based around thermals and power.

The ABS from Newegg with i5 and 3060 has much better components. I had a 3060 TI that I installed & sold the 3060.

This would have been cheaper, but had bad past experiences with HP.

ABS has no 12th gen i5 yet. 12400 is on par with 10700k in most games.
At this price range now, I would call it best deal, just need to add another 8GB ram which is less than $40

If you look at the linked video in my previous post for the disassembly and parts upgrade, this 2022 model, TE02 series looks completely different and bigger than the 2021 model (TE01). This looks like a slightly redesigned HP Omen 25L Desktop which mostly uses standard components like ATX motherboard and Power supply. The CPU Cooler height is also bigger compared to the last year model.

Also, after doing some digging, I am finally able to found out the exact motherboard detail and that is a good news because it is using standard uATX form factor. The Bios SSID is 894B and from their, I was able to found the details:

If you watch the teardown, there's one on the bottom front and in the back, but there's definitely room for two fans in the top as the case is vented.

Worst case scenario, it appears the MB is standard and could be swapped into a better case. It even has a regular 24 pin power connection and 2 m.2 slots.

The price is good for being 12th gen i5 with a 3060ti.. but they are sorta ripping you off with the single 512gb SSD and only 8 gb ram, you're gonna drop another $150 upping the ram to matched 16gb dual channel ram and a 1tb SSD storage drive which kind of kills the deal.
