This is not just me. Any subway owner I have spoken to is fed up with Subway HQ and their poor marketing. It's okay to have $1-3 coupons but not BOGO or $8 for a meal that would cost $14 minimum.
At the end of the day, we invest $300k to make money. This isn't helping us and it certainly doesn't help customers hoping to use such coupons. Also, whenever there's such coupons, we get a huge influx of new customers, but as soon as we stop accepting them, almost all of them go away (this statement is based on hard data from my store).

I'm guessing places with no competition might not allow coupons. One store near me tried to stop coupons AND raise prices. Both changes were reversed a couple months later.
