I've had this since December and I've been very happy with it. Great budget option.

How does this compare to LG from Costco

I don't think it's actually expired as SD claims and it was showing $350 for me.

Costco's LG: VA panel, lower refresh, curved
HP: IPS, higher refresh, flat

I had the LG for a couple months. it's a fine monitor for most uses, but had too much ghosting and black smearing for gaming purposes.

I'm not sure about the color gamut & accuracy on both panels, but if it's for gaming, I'd go for the HP.

for watching movies in a dark room, I'd go with the LG.

No curve, but I tried it out at Microcenter and was pretty good visually.

No need for a curve with an IPS panel this size.

3080 can drive AAA games about 75hz, definitely need 4090 to drive above 120hz
3080 will get you above 120fps at 3440x1440 EASILY, not to mention this supports gsync so framerate is really not going to be an issue as long as you've a good PC (no laptops as they have TDP limits, and no consoles as they need HDMI 2.1 which this monitor lacks)

It's a wide 1440p panel, not 4k. It is a pretty nice price though.

Just had a HP x32 delivered today from HP. Anybody know if HP will charge restocking fee if I return it unopened?
