This fan moves lots of air into a relatively diffuse ring pattern compared to many other fans. So when standing directly in front of it at any distance, it appears to not be pushing much air. But when placed in the right location of a large room, it definitely circulates the entire room's air very well. Beautiful fan otherwise. I'd prefer a more focused stream of air, so am thinking about returning the one I bought... but since my Florida home's central AC just died, I may decide to keep it, as it's doing a great job at sucking fresh air through the house.

I've never seen so many split reviews. Some people say it works great, others say the complete opposite.

Bought this and immediately returned it once I turned it on. This thing barely blows any air surprisingly and others have stated the same. I would stay away

Was the deal extended? Last I saw it was supposed to be through the 16th.

I'm currently using mine!

A lot of people were saying the airflow was disappointing on this. Other people were saying that it's actually pushing a lot of air, but doesn't feel like it. Anyone know if this an actual good product or not?

yeah, the fan seems a bit small. you might want to purchase a bigger one for your household needs

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and it's a godsend in my hot garage. It is fairly compact for a large drum fan, and I'm happy with it for $100. My only complaint is that it's Dewalt Yellow. Would have preferred the fan be black with the yellow Dewalt lettering, but oh well.

Got one last weekend just to have. Airflow seems OK; rheostat seemed a bit wonky to me but worked.

Call your local Costco. They are usually very responsive and can tell you if and how many are in stock for that store or any other nearby store.

I bought it and while a good price, I agree that it doesn't feel like a lot of air is pushed. If you're standing about 5 feet or more away, you'll barely feel it. But up close you can definitely feel it is moving air. It could be due to the thin shape of the design.

There is a Lasko floor carpet fan at cost for about $70 at Costco, and I think that might move air at a greater distance.

If you really care about it I guess you could make a cowling to direct air in more of a forward direction
