With shipping from Farm and fleet it's about $55 more for one 5ah battery instead of one 2ah battery but doesn't look like it has a charger. Both come with at least one 5ah battery. Is the Farm and fleet deal still better for the $55 extra?
Depends on your needs. If you need a charger the HD deal is better.
I already have the M18 Rocket tower light with no batteries and needed an impact driver so I wanted to stay in the M18 line up. The tower light has an integrated charger but it's not ideal. Thanks to the Slickdeals community I've seen a lot of great deals from Ryobi but have been holding out for some Milwaukee batteries. I guess it's just an ok deal. The 55% off in the advertisement must have influenced my decision 😅
I've owned/used this surge for 2 years and it's the one tool I recommend to everyone I know. You'll love it compared to a typical impact.

I have the M12 version and it's much nicer to use.
Deal is still available. Is the Surge much better?
It's randomly in and out of stock. Just gotta keep checking

It depends on what you want. The normal fuel impact is more powerful but much louder. The surge is less powerful but much quieter. So if you want speed then go with the normal fuel. If you will be using in confined spaces and need something more quiet then go with the surge.
