best gaming mouse for claw grip, it's small and extra light only 82g. The ambidextrous design with buttons on top are just great for fast paced games. I tried at least every other popular logitech option out there but none offer the extra buttons. That said it's a wired mouse and it doesn't offer 'aim smoothing ', the software is somewhat dated but for the price... just get it and see for yourself

I bought one of these last month. It's just too small for my palm grip style. I do love the extra buttons being located on top instead of sides like most. Wish I could find an ambidextrous larger form factor with bottoms on top.

you may want to check the Roccat Tyon R3, not on sale or anything like that at the moment but it's a larger size mouse at about twice the weight of the g300.

you won't be able to program the the macro buttons on the Mac. Logitech hub app doesn't support this mouse anymore. You only be able to use it as a regular mouse. Unless I did something wrong but that's the general consensus on the internet. Some people got into work with older version of Logitech hub app. It didn't work for me. I'll stick to my g502, which was easy to program.

Good mouse. It's my daily driver and I have a spare for when it breaks, I like it that much. For those of us that our south paws, this is about as comfortable as it's going to get with a pretty mainstream mouse - at least it doesn't seem to be intentionally designed to inflict pain on our poor hands.

I'm on my 3rd logitech mouse in 3 years. First two were around $50 each.
My current mouse was closer to $5.

I will probably avoid logitech in the future, though they work good while they work.

I can't tell you how many times I have emailed Logitech and asked, begged and pleaded to refresh this mouse with a newer sensor and have it work with their current software. Such a great mouse with perfect button placement.
