I bought this TV earlier for the $2250 price and I am 100% happy with the quality of images. I have a rather bright family room and this TV is just great in the room. Sure I wish I got it for the current $1960 price, but I'm done wheel'n and deal'n for a big screen TV.... I'm just enjoying it now. Thank you SlickDeal members for posting about this TV !

It's a stretch to call them clowns for saying that. You are brazenly extorting them, they knew it and played along. I mean do what you will to get a deal, but they are clowns to offer 10% back in the first place, not for telling you it can't stack.

That's a good question and I don't know. I plan to either give to my kids as a iPad alternative tablet for streaming/school apps, or else flip it on Craigslist/OfferUp for $100 or so.

Is it a true Edu account or an alumni Edu email? I have my old alumni Edu email that doesn't work. Luckily, my wife is a teacher and it works fine. You create an account with their email address. They get a verification email to click. Once you login, it'll redirect you to ID.me to login and verify. Once that happened, the correct, lower prices were showing up, either on product page, or sometimes only at Checkout screen.

Thanks for the catch. Yes IPS panel with dimming isn't as good. See all LG's products other than OLED.

And the Q80T (2020) is a near copy of the Q70R (2019) which I have with the same VA panel and 50 dimming zones lol. Samsung loves to rerelease the same product. I do like my Q70R so I know I'll like the QN90A. They actually improved on their TV with new tech.

From researching, QN90A has generally better viewing quality than QN900A.
