Dell G15 Special Edition Gaming Laptop
This is one of the best deals I have seen for an RTX 3060-equipped laptop at $1000. The i7 11800H is on par with the Ryzen 7 5800H, but you get Thunderbolt 4. This is not a thin and light notebook, but if a close to a 6-pound laptop is not a problem, it may be hard to beat this deal right now.
Please go easy on me. I rarely post deals, but I thought this one was noteworthy.
*Please note that no coupon is necessary. The product page says limited availability.
The 3060 looks like 115W+15W boost according to this thread:

Looks like 115w+15w boost. A similar g15 model non se was available from microcenter back in Jan for the same $999. When comparing the two I wound up with an omen 17 same cpu/gpu combo both 130w and $999 at that time. Performance should be exceptional 9000+ timespy score in a portable.
This is great info! I'm going to add it to the description.

i7 seems to be better because of possible bottleneck on i5. https://nanoreview.net/en/cpu-com...h#comment
Play on the standard 120Hz display panel (coming soon) with 250-nit brightness; or opt for the 165Hz display panel with 300-nit brightness, sRGB 100% color gamut, and 3ms response time.
In short: Do we really believe the 360Hz spec claim? Seems far-fetched, you don't normally see that on 3060 laptops, more very high end 3070/3080 lappies. Thoughts?

Btw: recession is coming. Hold your money. Don't buy anything that is non-essential to your life. Wait and let the stock and housing market crash, which is actually happening. Thank me later.

Agree. Bought at best buy and returned 3 days later. UGLIEST computer made, and the few quirks which weren't commons , got rid of it. This looks like a cheap no name laptop, at best
