Lenovo offers this Android tablet at $300 off usual price.

Unique among Android tablets, this functions as an HDMI monitor, allowing for a second display without software installation.

I grabbed one of these simply because I wanted a small portable monitor so the fact it has HDMI input was a big deal. I use a M1 iPad pro as my daily driver for a tablet so this was more of a fun purchase. Having this in my bag and being able to connect Switch or Steam Deck to it is really nice. I loaded up the tablet itself with emulators and it does an amazing job running the tougher consoles like PS2, Gamecube, Wii. Ive got quite a few of those games running at full speed. The sound is really impressive with the sound bar style speakers on the bottom and 2 upfiring speakers at the top with Atmos support. Im incredibly impressed with it as a portable entertainment device. If you are a power user looking for something as a daily driver, this is probably not for you It's design doesnt lend well to a keyboard case and it has no productivity (desktop) mode, no SD card slot, and no support for external drives. Go with a Galaxy 6/7/8 or an iPad Air instead. But if you are a gamer, like retro emulation, streaming video, and like the idea of your tablet doubling as a portable monitor for your laptop or game console, this is for you. They even include the mini HDMI to HDMI cable in the box so you are ready to go day 1.
This is a good tablet for media consumption but DO NOT upgrade it to android 12 when you get it. Lenovo botched the 12 upgrade and broke a bunch of stuff including tap to wake, volume control, etc. They claim they are going to push an update at the end of June.
Snapdragon 870 and A13 Bionic processors have similar performance that within 5% of each other.
This one has a larger screen that can be used as mobile monitor. That is an attractive feature for some users .

Too big to be a tablet and too small for serious productivity. Good specs and performance ratings. I wonder who the audience would be for this.
Missing the following:
No cellular connection
No SD card reader
No headphone port
Screen refresh rate only 60Hz

It seems to be positioned just for watching streaming video, but the lack of even a micro SD is a real head scratcher. You could probably jam some storage in with a USB hub, but you also have to deliver the power there... A huge tablet could be good for reading comics and such in lavish detail but if you can't fit your library on it what's the point?

Good deal, thank you for sharing. Really nice screen. The main draw in my opinion is the HDMI port, which allows you to also use this as a portable external monitor.

I have this too. The screen is very large and the sound/battery bar makes it capable of one hand holding unlike its competitors. also it is very fast for the price (snapdragon 870+). Both of your statements are not true.

However I wouldn't suggest this tablet unless you want/need a portable monitor (this is the only tablet with HDMI IN). This tablet is lacking in many features when compared to a similarly priced galaxy tab or other android tablet.

Any chance you got MGS2 or 3 running? Or any of the Gran Turismo games full speed?

Quad speakers are really nice to have for watching media. Only the more expensive iPads have speakers on both sides. For everything else I can't say I recommend Lenovo tablets though.

Hmm... I'd only want this for the portable monitor and rarely use Android. I think I'm going to hold off and wait until Asus releases their portable Zenscreen OLED monitors.

You would be incorrect, their performance should be pretty much identical, yet your not getting a 13" screen or a HDMI port with a simple Ipad.
