In the future if I notice milk spoiling early, I'll take note and start shopping around sooner instead of just turning it up colder. Clark Howard says that with kitchen appliances, it is better to replace rather than fix, after the 3-5 year mark, which I found surprising.
Best Buy delivers and the white fridge last forever
I don't think so. I live in FL and unless a fridge or freezer is rated for outdoor use, down here it just doesn't work well, from what I've been told. This is only May and today's "real feel" temp was 100. I don't know about your garage but ours gets super hot.
I bought some plastic bins for the shelves from costco and helps a good bit with organizing and more storage. since they can stack. Very good for any college student, or man cave storage
.
While I was looking this up last year, I believe there's no way to service the refrigerant if that goes out based on what I found. I could be wrong. Most of the models are pretty much the same. Some people have posted what could be the manufacturer. The look of them were quite similar and the configuration inside were just altered.
I would see if you can get this on the used market though, especially if your'e in a college town. Definitely now is a good time with students moving out and new students coming in. I bought mine for half price.
