That has to be the case here, I think. The better products sell for a much, much higher price and are washable. There is no indication that this product is washable and it is very thin. Having said that, at $1.08 per roll, definitely a bargain. Seems to me that it would be fine for lining drawers even though it's definitely not the quality of the higher-priced products.

I am not sure but it did have a strong smell. My allergies are quite sensitive and I decided to go with a different product instead of this not slickdeal, especially when I just got rid of all the rolls I purchased.

Picked this up few hours ago and I agree this is very thin and cheaply made. Not worth more than $1 IMO

I buy a similar product at the dollar tree that's 12"x3'. These really do work well for rug grippers. Marketed rug grippers are stupidly expensive at $10-20 for a small piece or corner grips that can damage hardwood floors and that can cost just as much as the rug itself to buy enough to cover it, which is absurd. These shelf liners may not be as hefty but they are functional to keep rugs from sliding around. And if you find they strangely don't suit your needs then give them the harbor freight treatment and realize you paid the equivalent of a single potato to try it.

Saw this post, it got implanted in my mind, and I ended up buying some of this stuff from dollar tree when I was there. Considering they are $1.25 now + tax this definitely seems like a slickdeal even if it is walmarts regular price (I like to keep in mind where the lowest prices are for certain things so looks like wallyworld beats the dollar store)

this kind of product works great for cutting boards. I use the slightly more thicker version as that has a better grip for my messed up countertop which is a bit warped.
