I bought that on May 12th for $13.97 with a $4 clippable coupon, thus $0.02 LESS.
So NOT the "lowest price in 3 months".

Does it work well? The bad reviews are keeping me from buying it.

How does a product that has 14,531 reviews at 4.7 stars still have you focusing on the bad reviews?

1% of bad reviews, complaints about it doesn't hold big handle things, other complains it doesn't hold small.

I rarely focus on positive reviews but judge the negative reviews. With only 1% being negative.

Most of the handles I have to hold have a piece of plastic topping the handle, When the handle slides down it stops. Like reviewer Alexandra Baird wrote,

Because Amazon is known to have many fake positive reviews. The negative ones tend to be more honest in my opinion.

I picked up something extremely similar to these from HD recently. First and foremost, I would not classify these types of racks as "heavy duty". They are constructed from a lightweight, glossy plastic as opposed to something like hdpe or glass-filled nylon. The flip out hooks will hold lighter tools but I can see them easily breaking if overloaded or abused. The actual slots to hold the tools are on the smallish side, but seem to work well for thinner handles such as rakes, brooms, mops, etc. I have a push broom in one of the slots and it seems to slip slightly over time (I stagger the heights at which they are suspended for spacing purposes). I personally would not use it for things like axes, shovels, pickaxes, power tools etc. IMO they are probably worth somewhere in the $5 range, $10 seems a bit high.

Looks like it's $8.66 for those who prefer gray/beige or want to save a few pennies. I agree with the other posters about not using this for heavier garden tools, continue to look for metal ones...
