Do you have instruction on where to buy replacment part & how to solder it in place?
I have a few Logitech mouses lying around the house, all failed due to this double-click issue. Tried to fix them by reshaping the spring, but the issue resurface after a short period of time... so had to bought new mouse...

It's not ideal, but out of warranty you can clean the contacts to stop the double clicking issue for awhile. You can even replace the faulty switches with higher quality ones if you can do basic soldering.

I've been using the older generation G502 Proteus Core since 2015 and it's still working flawlessly. I use this mouse every day for at least 5-6 hours per day year round. If this mouse gives up on me one day, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

I use the 502 as my gaming mouse. It fits good in my (normal sized) hand and I like the upper left buttons to use as macros. I have not had it long enough to see if I will get the double click issue that some people see in logitech mice.

I have the 502 and like it alot but it likely will develop the double-click issue if you use it a lot. Had mine 8 months and they already sent me a warranty replacement...

I have two mx anywhere mice that have this problem but have been working smoothly for at least a couple of years by slipping a small square of a post it note (about half inch square of the sticky part) between the button and switch. Haven't looked under the skirt of my 502 to see how feasible that would be but could be worth a try for it and others.

Been using the 502 hero for about 2 years now. This is my 3rd one. The first got the double click issue after about 6 months. Logitech replaced with no issues. The second one also developed the double click issue a few months later. They replaced it again no issue. I tried to follow instructions posted on youtube vids to fix the old ones, but couldn't get it to fix well. Even with the issues, I love this mouse. It feels great in hand and has a satisfying click feel. I use it every day for about 5 hours a day. I havent been playing alot of fps recently so maybe this one will last longer. Just wish it didn't break so easily.

Me too! I love my Logitech mice. Use them extensively for work, but none last up to 2 years.
Just don't want to buy new mouse every year or so...

Just watch some YouTube video, it's not hard. Soldering kit and some switch and good as new.

I had the original G502 for 5 years and eventually decided to replace it with the G502 wireless.

The eggs are way better and cost half as much. Only reason for buying into this series is wireless models
