I, personally, switched away from tree-paper TP last year after reading about how 15% of world's deforestation is a direct result of our toilet paper consumption, alone.

Maybe considering doing similar?

I discovered bamboo TP, and - after a brief period of acclimation - with no residual "lint" after a wipe, consider it a far superior product, in its own right.

At a little over $1 a roll from outlets such as the Grove Collective, and little need to use over 3 squares per "sitting," it's likely even a slicker deal, besides.
