I have a similar model that I bought as a refurb. Just a note, the refurbs can have dead pixels. I have 1 that was there from day 1. Also the stand is a little wobbly, I have it on a standing desk and if I bump the desk, the stand wobbles. Other than that, its a solid monitor, I bought directly from Acer Refurb and added on a warranty. They have a 5% off coupon on the website for first time buyers, so check acer refurbs before you buy on ebay.

this one is probably the better deal as it is 1440p at 144hz. most people wont notice the difference between 240/144hz. the only problem that many people would run into is that to push 144hz on 1440p, requires a pretty power & expensive GPU. i would say at least a rtx 3070 and above.

it really depends what you play to be honest. most esports games don't need much more than a 1070 at better than average settings to hit 144fps at 1440p. when you get to AAA games it's a different story.
